Guaranty Collection Company, Inc (GCC) is a debt collection agency. This communication is from a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose

 

Online Payment Terms and Conditions

 

Guaranty Collection Company, Inc. (“GCC”) is offering this online payment service (“Payment Service”) as a convenience option to you (“you” or “your”). Please also review our Privacy Policy, which includes important information about the type of information we collect about you, how we collect that information, and what we do with that information.

 

AUTHENTICATION AND AUTHORIZATION FOR PAYMENT SERVICE USAGE

 

This Payment Service incorporates commercially reasonable methods to authenticate the information that you have supplied in order to make a payment through this Payment Service. You will not be able to submit a payment until you register with the Payment Service. The registration process includes authentication based on your valid GCC account number and either your zip code associated with that account, the last four digits of your social security number, or the client reference number for the account (both the account number and client reference number can be found on the printed letter you receive from GCC). You will not be allowed to use the Payment Service to make payments to GCC until you have read these Online Payment Terms and Conditions and have acknowledged doing so by clicking the “I Accept” button on the payment page.

As the user of the Payment Service, after your acceptance of these Online Payment Terms and Conditions, you will have submitted your banking account or credit card account (your “Designated Account”) information. You are responsible for any legal, regulatory, or banking penalties and fees that may be assessed for supplying false information for use with the Payment Service.

By accepting these Online Payment Terms and Conditions, you authorize GCC, through the Payment Service, to initiate a charge to your Designated Account according to your instructions. Each time you use the Payment Service to make a payment to GCC, you will be reauthorizing GCC to charge your Designated Account according to your instructions.

By accepting these Online Payment Terms and Conditions, you authorize GCC, through the Payment Service, to include with your charged payment the additional fees associated with the type of payment, as stated on the payment page where you enter your Designated Account information (unless where designated by state law that the fee cannot be charged, in CO, NC, NV, and WI);

If you cannot find your account number or client reference number, you may call GCC at (818) 880-2122 or email gcc@guarantycollections.com to retrieve it.

No payment, or any portion of a payment, will be considered paid until GCC receives payment;

If your Designated Account is a credit card that is declined, GCC will attempt a second deduction the next business day, and any charges for the initial non-payment or second payment will be paid by you;

If no funds are available when the second attempted deduction is made, the payment on your account will not be made, and your GCC associate will contact you regarding a substitution payment; and

If your Designated Account is a checking account with insufficient funds, the payment on your account will not be made, your GCC associate will contact you within 10 business days regarding a substitution payment, and any charges for the initial non-payment will be paid by you.

You are 18 years old or older;

You are using your actual identity and any information you provide is accurate and complete;

You are legally authorized to make payments using your Designated Account;

You have read and agreed to our Privacy Policy; and

Your use of the Payment Service will not violate any local, state, national or international laws or regulations.

GCC ONLINE PAYMENT SERVICE By providing GCC with the account information for your Designated Account, you authorize GCC to follow the payment instructions we received from you through the Payment Service. When you use this Payment Service to send GCC a payment instruction, you authorize GCC to initiate a message to your bank or credit card provider to charge your Designated Account and to send those funds to GCC for payment on your account. SECURITY CONTROLS Our GCC Payment Service application employs the following controls and measures:

 

Uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 256-bit encryption for all transmissions of consumer data in order to assure privacy.

Automatically logs out an end user after a certain period of time in order to protect personal information from onlookers.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND EXCLUSIONS OF WARRANTIES ALTERATIONS AND AMENDMENTS These Online Payment Terms and Conditions are the legal binding agreement between GCC and you with respect to the Payment Service. You will be agreeing to the current provisions of these Online Payment Terms and Conditions each time a payment is made using the Payment Service according to your instructions. These Online Payment Terms and Conditions may have been altered or amended from the last time you used the Payment Service, so be sure to read it each time before you make a payment to be certain you still agree with its provisions. Your use of the Payment Service after any changes to these Online Payment Terms and Conditions will constitute your agreement to such change(s). TERMINATION OR DISCONTINUATION We reserve the right to terminate the Payment Service at any time, or to terminate your use of the Payment Service. If we terminate use of the Payment Service in any aspect, you will need to pay your account in another manner.

These Online Payment Terms and Conditions are the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement regarding the Payment Service between you and GCC. It supersedes any proposal or prior agreement, oral or written, and any other communications between you and GCC specifically relating to the Payment Service. If there is a conflict between what a GCC employee tells you and the terms of this document, these Online Payment Terms and Conditions will prevail. BY CLICKING THE ACCEPTANCE BOX ON THE PAYMENT PAGE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE ONLINE PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY AND YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEIR TERMS, AND ANY FUTURE AMENDMENTS, WHICH MAY BE MADE BY NCS FROM TIME TO TIME.
